The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine concerning Excise Duty"

The Law increases the rates of excise duty on ethyl alcohol (except of spirit used for production of medicine) and heavy distillates.

Since 2010, the Law introduces annual adjustment of rates on excise duty on ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages for the consumer price index.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 4265.
